David Steinberg

Founder, Principal

Founder, Mr. Steinberg has been managing money for over 40 years. From 1984 through 1999, Mr. Steinberg was employed by Morgan Stanley as Wealth Manager and served as a Principal in the Special Situations Group. He specialized in deep-value, turnaround, and bankruptcy strategies.

 

From 2003-2005 he served as Sub-Manager for Omega Advisors. Mr. Steinberg was also the Owner and Managing Partner of D2 Capital Management before founding DLS Capital Management in 2006. Mr. Steinberg specializes in global equities and deep value investing. Mr. Steinberg holds an MBA, Finance and a BS from Northern Illinois University.

Tami Maurer 

Operations Manager 

Ms. Maurer directs the accounting, banking, administrative and regulatory aspects of the management company and funds.

 

Prior to joining DLS Capital Management in 2006 Ms. Maurer spent ten years employed by Morgan Stanley and Prudential Bache Securities as a Sales & Operations Assistant working with high net worth individuals in the Private Client Services Division. Ms. Maurer holds an MBA from DePaul University and a BS from Northern Illinois University.
